Prison Advice & Care Trust

The Prison Advice & Care Trust (pact) is an independent charity which supports people affected by imprisonment. pact works at a number of prisons and courts across the South of England and Wales.

Action for Prisoners' Families promotes the just treatment of prisoners' families by the prison system and society across the UK. It encourages the development of, and acts as a voice for, organisations providing support to these families.

This is achieved through direct service provision and by raising awareness of related issues through research, publications, conferences and events.

They work within partnership with practitioners from criminal justice sector, local authorities, voluntary and community organisations and the private sector.

Partners of Prisoners and Families Support Group (POPS)

Partners of Prisoners and Families Support Group (POPS) aims to provide a variety of services to support anyone who has a link with someone in prison, prisoners and other agencies. POPS provides assistance to these groups for the purpose of enabling families to cope with the stress of arrest, imprisonment and release. They work mainly in the north of England.
