Prison Advice & Care Trust

The Prison Advice & Care Trust (pact) is an independent charity which supports people affected by imprisonment. pact works at a number of prisons and courts across the South of England, London and Wales.

Action for Prisoner's Families

Action for Prisoner's Families promotes the just treatment of prisoner's families by the prison system and society across the UK. It encourages the development of, and acts as avoice for, organisations providing support to these families.

Ormiston Trust

Ormiston Children and Families Trust works across East Anglia to promote the well being of children and young people, especially those disadvantaged by their life experiences or circumstances. This is achieved through direct service provision and by raising awareness of related issues through research, publications, conferences and events.

Barnardo's

The children's charity has been working in prisons on parenting issues since 1996 and now delivers parenting programmes in prison establishments in Northern Ireland and the South West of England.

Thames Valley Partnership

The Thames Valley Partnership brings people and organisations together to create safe and stronger communities through sustainable solutions to the problems of crime and social exclusion. They work in partnership with practitioners from the criminal justice sector, local authorities, voluntary and community organisations and the private sector.

Partners of Prisoners and Families Support Group (POPS)

POPS aims to provide a variety of services to support anyone who has a link with someone in prison, prisoners and other agencies. POPS provides assistance to these groups for the purpose of enabling families to cope with the stress of arrest, imprisonment and release. They work mainly in the North West of England.

Email a Prisoner offers a service that enables families and friends to send messages to any prisoner in the UK from any computer without the hassle of writing and posting a letter, for less cost than a first class stamp.

Clinks was established in 1998 to strengthen and develop the partnerships between voluntary and community based organisations and the prison and probation services in England and Wales.
